MacNeil worked as a Machine Development Engineer in the Cat D7E Electric Drive group and the Cat D6T Tier 4 program at the Peoria Proving Grounds.

Professional accomplishments: Worked with Cat’s track-type tractors product group to align the future technology strategy of the product. Involved with technologies such as autonomy, grade control, remote control, telematics, and safety systems.
Favorite movie: “Gladiator,” because the main character perseveres through hardship and shows honor.
Extracurricular: Member, Fellowship of Christian Athletes; sponsors a child through Compassion International
Fun fact: MacNeil owns JJ & Sons Service, where he invented wireless/Bluetooth communications devices for company safety hard hats.
