In three years, Blake has doubled the amount of machinery the company is able to field in order to complete work in a timely yet meticulous manner. “He runs the company with the utmost care and respect for his employees and customers,” says Megan Griffin.

Accomplishments: The rekindling of the family business. Correia Excavators was established in 1987, and Blake left his career in a public utility to take over the business in 2017. The company continues to thrive and grow.
Off the clock: Boating on the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound.
Extracurricular: The pandemic took a toll on youth activities. I contributed funds for the local high school football players to start their own league.
Fun fact: Recently amped up a large collection of diecast models, ranging from a replica JV III R model Mack lowbed to various pieces of the the company’s John Deere fleet.
