Brian is responsible for sales, rental, inventory, and other general operations for West Side, a John Deere dealership.
“Brian has a combination of skill sets rarely seen these days in young adults, having a strong analytical and financial mind, while at the same time being a great communicator,” says Ernie Stephens, CEM, and member of the Class of 2018.
Education: Bachelor’s degree, Indiana University.
Professional accomplishments: In 2010, West Side acquired five locations in Indiana from Holt Equipment. Using his background in banking, Brian helped facilitate the due diligence of the transaction and transition. Brian helped developed a five-year program defining values, implementing dealership standards across departments, focusing on accountability, establishing employee succession plans, and recruiting the “right” people that fit within the culture of the organization.
Off the clock: Brian and his wife enjoy running, working out, and exploring new restaurants.
Extracurricular: Charitable involvement includes Cocktails and Chemo, which supports caregivers as they care for a sick loved one; Stacy’s Closet, which provides children with winter clothing; and A to Z Literacy Foundation, which provides books for children in Zambia.
