Class: 2015 Age: 38 Company: Five Star Builders
Clint is a partner in Five Star Builders. He started as a field laborer and now is a partner/owner of a company employing more than 80 people. He manages the organization’s 60-piece equipment fleet.
“Besides all of the above, Clint gives back,” says Greg Henes, president. “He donates his time and money to just about everything that happens in our small town. He coaches wrestling at our high school, manages our scholarship program to two high schools, and works with the youth to build confidence and a hard work ethic.”
Education and certification: OW2A certified installer, class A CDL, licensed general contractor.
Professional accomplishments: Owner of Five Star Builders, Five Star Paving, and Five Star Plumbing.
Off the clock: My personal motto is “Work hard, play hard.” My favorite vacation spot is at our family cabin located in the Blue Mountains of Oregon. My time spent at the cabin includes hunting in the fall, snowmobiling in the winter, boating and fishing in the summer. These moments are important to me because memories are being made with family and friends that will never be forgotten.
Extracurricular: I provide six scholarships through my business to high school students that are generally driven towards the construction trades. I believe in encouraging young adults that want to pursue a future in the construction field. I volunteer as an assistant coach for the Banks High School wrestling program, and with Habitat for Humanity.
