Certifications: Class A licensed contractor, certified welder, certified miner, and certified in heavy highway construction and asbestos removal.
Professional accomplishments: Starting my own construction company when I was 23 years old, then obtaining my Class A Contractor certification the next year. It was challenging to get tested in all aspects of construction when you only focus on certain portions of it on a daily basis.
Off the clock: Spending time with my 10-month-old daughter, showing her the equipment I use, taking her for walks, and playing outside.
Extracurricular: I am a part of an event called Field Day of the Past. It’s a great opportunity to show the history of construction, from steam engines to old saw mills. I help educate children on what used to be.
Fun fact: I enjoy studying history around the world.
