Can be paired with 300- or 500-gallon tanks.

The MX150 Vermeer mixing system for horizontal directional drilling has a Kohler 7-horsepower gas engine that delivers up to 150 gpm. It has a 6-gallon fuel tank.

The mixing system can be paired with tanks of 300 gallons or 500 gallons, narrow or wide. The 24.4-inch narrow tank enables the MX150 to fit on a trailer alongside mid-size directional drills.

A specially designed tank shape allows for efficient fluid mixing and minimizes solids settling at the bottom, according to the company. The unit also includes a garden hose fitting for cleaning of the hopper and machine.

A premium high-grade seal is built for longevity and resilience in dry operations. It also has a mud pump seal grease level indicator.

Operators can configure the power unit with the hose outlet pointing to the back or side of the trailer, enabling efficient hookup from the mix system to the drill.
