Ditch Witch vacuum excavator model HX30G has a 31-horsepower Vanguard gasoline engine. It comes with a 542-cfm blower and delivers 3,000 psi of water pressure and 4.2 gpm of water flow.
Water tanks are available at 500 or 800 gallons. When trailered with the VT9 trailer and a 500-gallon tank, the unit falls below 10,000 pounds GVWR and does not require a CDL to transport.
The vacuum excavator is available with an optional jib boom for additional range of motion. A hose restraint keeps the hose from jumping, and a hose storage system allows the hose to be stored flat and straight inside the unit frame when it isn’t needed.
