McLaughlin WH 225 auger boring machine has a 214-horsepower Volvo Tier 4 compliant diesel engine. Its 5-inch hex auger drives 1.2 million pounds of thrust and 126,000 lb.-ft. of torque for big bore applications ranging from 16 to 72 inches in diameter.
A wireless remote control allows the operator to be out of the pit while boring, and a Rabbit Travel feature allows for quick movement of the boring machine when adding casings or repositioning the auger.
