New management at Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. come with North American expertise and a “refined focus on responsibilities,” said to the company. A new president/CEO, COO, and EVP represent decades of experience in the United States as well as knowledge of manufacturing, compliance, and strategy from Hino globally.
Masamichi Mizukoshi has been named president/CEO. He is a veteran of the automotive industry, having held domestic and international leadership positions over his 35-year career at Toyota Motor Corp. Since 2019, he served as COO of Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. and had previously served as managing officer for Hino Motors Ltd. Mizukoshi succeeds Takashi Ono, who served as president since 2017.
Davey Jung is the new COO and EVP for Toyota Business. He has held numerous roles at Hino Motors Manufacturing Michigan offices throughout the last decade, most recently as EVP, SVP for purchasing, sales, R&D and corporate strategy. During a 13-year period at Dana Inc., Jung held positions including chief engineer and director of sales.
Masaki Hanayama has been appointed EVP and will oversee Hino Motors Manufacturing Truck Business, production planning control and R&D. Most recently, Hanayama served as product strategy department officer for Hino Motors Ltd.
