The mini lube truck from Elliot, a Stellar Industries brand, is a single-axle unit that can be mounted on various chassis configurations including the Ford F-550, RAM 5500, International CV Series, and other single-axle heavy-duty platforms.
The mini lube is a smaller version of other lube trucks Stellar Industries manufactures, and its CDL applications have several benefits for fleets, Jeran Pollock, product manager, said
“The under CDL allows operators to do more of a targeted change and a 500-hour service, whereas before they would try and fill up with filters and oil for a week. Now it’s more of a kind of targeted service and the idea is you can have an inside tech jump in the vehicle and do the service,” Pollock said.
Whether it’s an open or enclosed body style, the mini lube truck is capable of carrying several oil pumping systems, including systems for used oil, antifreeze, and grease. The mini lube features a 1,000-gallon fuel tank, 120-gallon used oil tank, four oil tanks (two 85-gallon and two 60-gallon), 55-gallon poly antifreeze tank, and a 120-pound grease capacity.
The unit’s used oil evacuation system provides rapid oil removal from machinery, according to Stellar, and the new oil pumping systems are capable of handling thick, viscous oils.
Underbody storage boxes provide containment for used filter drainage, and up deck boxes provide additional storage for operator use.
