Struck By Accident Kills Worker in Indiana

A dump truck backing up in a work zone struck a worker in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The worker, Dale Thomas, 53, died at a local hospital.

 A report by WTHR, citing the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, said Thomas was found with critical injuries after being struck by a Mack truck.

According to a report in the Journal & Courier, the truck was backing up to an asphalt milling machine when it hit Thomas, who was spraying water behind the truck.
