Georgia officials approved a deal that will allow Rivian to build a new manufacturing facility in Morgan County, east of Atlanta.
The move was announced in 2021, and the final approval includes a rental agreement for a site. The electric truck manufacturer will invest $5 billion to build the facility, according to a report on WSB, which will create 7,500 jobs.
