Our Gallery features Class 8 vocational trucks now being built by mainstream original equipment manufacturers. These are primarily conventional-cab straight trucks and some tractors, plus heavy low-cab-forward models. The conventionals are equipped with dump, mixer, block and concrete-pumper bodies, while tractors pull flatbeds, dumps and bulk tanks that carry a wide variety of construction supplies and materials. Societal effects of the coronavirus are largely responsible for a production downturn. All major truck builders have medium-duty electric trucks for order or sale, and some have heavy-duty e-models.
