Bomag BF6615 Asphalt Paver

Weighing 20,500 pounds, BF6615 asphalt paver is a new model for Bomag. Powered by a 99-horsepower Cummins water-cooled diesel, the paver can carry 9 tons in its hopper and pave from 8 to 15 feet wide with a full-width floating screed. Dual operating stations permit control from either side, and the operator can see the working area because of the low engine position. Newly designed Unimat 2 screed is electrically heated. Dual vibrators provide 2,500 vpm. Paver can push feeder trucks while maintaining speeds to 180 fpm. Crawler-style track drive has bolt-on polyurethane pads, and eight sealed rollers per side carry the weight of the paver. Estimated list price: Not yet established. Video walk around.
