The Arsenault Dossier Tire Management System automates tire-data collection and reporting using a new digital handheld tread-depth and air-pressure device called Dossier Tire Probe. Bar codes or RFID tags fixed to on- and off-road tires allow field people to attach tire-condition information to each tire's individual ID number, and Dossier Tire Management software monitors the downloaded data to automatically identify tires with chronic under inflation or tread depth problems. In a real-time download environment, the system can automatically alert the technician with an audible sound and warning screen if a tire is at or below its low-air-pressure limit or minimum tread depth.
