F Seriesoff-highway haul trucks have 100-percent more glass area in the operator cab for improved visibility, says Caterpillar. By moving the operator seat to the center of the cab with the trainer's seat to the left, Caterpillar has increased cab space for improved operator comfort. ACERT engines provide increased fuel efficiency, as well as emissions compliance. Caterpillar's focus on simplified service and maintenance can be seen with the all-hydraulic-brake design, which eliminates the maintenance and parts required for previous air-over-hydraulic systems.
