The ACC Alpine asphalt plant is a counterflow drum mix plant that uses high-capacity recycling technology. The Ammann asphalt plant is available in stationary, relocatable, and portable configurations ranging from 300 to 600 tons per hour.
The Alpine series technologies enable hot mix asphalt producers to maximize high total production and the amount of recycled asphalt (RAP) content without sacrificing mix quality, according to the company. The intuitive control system allows tracking and analyzing plant operating data in real time.
The plant has single-drum, multi-zone drying and mixing system with VFD, modular and scalable designed components, and RAP capabilities up to 60%.

Storage silos have capacities ranging up to 300 tons with extended mix storage options available. The modular silo batcher arrangement is expandable and optimal for retrofitting and matching silo deck heights.
Aggregate feed systems include troughing feed belts to eliminate spills and large bin openings. Steep, sloped bin walls optimize material flow, and variable-frequency drives promote accurate calibration and production changes, according to the company.
The reverse-air baghouse system is shorter and wider than previous systems.
