XGC1900 natural-gas powered Caterpillar generator provides up to 1900 kW of continuous power.
It is engineered for flexibility by easily switching between 50 and 60 Hz and across a range of voltages, enabling one machine to satisfy varying load requirements in diverse regions and applications, according to the company.
Powered by the Cat G3516H gas engine, the gen set packages a CSA-certified gas train and cooling, noise attenuation, air handling, and other essential components in a weather-resistant 40-foot container that streamlines transport and deployment while offering exceptional sound attenuation.
The Cat XGC1900 gas generator features Caterpillar’s EMCP 4 control system, providing engine and generator set control, protection, and monitoring. Its externally accessible, package-mounted control panel and power distribution panel facilitate operator access and serviceability.
Cat Connect allows operators to remotely track and manage the generator set, sending real-time information on fuel status, battery voltage, and run status.
