Vanair Xcite PTO Shaft and Hydraulic Engine-Driven Generators maximize engine power by enabling users to access AC power via a truck’s PTO drive.
Both generators are designed for applications including plastic pipe fusion, night lighting, pumps, heaters, power outages, and pipeline relining equipment in most remote locations. The company says its PTO- and hydraulic-powered generators are much simpler to operate than their engine-driven counterparts. There is no need to replace the chassis alternator or add extra batteries like in dynamic and static inverter applications. Both systems generate real AC power, not simulated or converted power in capacities from 4,000 to 20,000 Watts (Hydraulic) or 10,000 to 25,000 Watts (PTO Shaft). Each generator offers both 120-volt and 240-volt outlets and precise frequency controls keep output regulated within two percent.
