The Wanco WGC Series of commercial-grade generators includes three models—WGC3800, WGC5300, and WGC7500E—and features Kohler Command PRO engines.
Their design employs copper windings for improved conduction and maximized surge capacities, and oversized alternators with full varnish dip for a stronger bond than the dripped-on type with better coverage in all crevices for better winding protection from movement, moisture, and debris, the company says. All WGC models incorporate an automatic voltage regulator system that provides voltage control output for sensitive equipment and electronics. OSHA-compliant GFCI receptacles and twist-lock receptacles enhance safety, and a low-oil-level sensor with automatic shutoff is designed to protect the engine from damage. The mufflers also feature spark arrestors approved by the U.S. Forest Service. Wheel kits with two no-flat tires offer enhanced portability.
