Heavy duty snow blower for use on skid steer loaders has been added to the Blue Diamond line of snow-removal attachments. It is available in cutting widths of 62 to 96 inches and has an 11-inch chute diameter.
The snow blower uses machine-formed hand-welded 19-inch augers made with high-tensile steel ribbon flighting. A standard 26-inch-diameter five-blade fan features tight tolerance to the housing, increasing velocity of the snow exiting the chute, according to Blue Diamond.
It has adjustable skid shoes and a hydraulic rotator on the chute. Hydraulic line check valves prevent reverse rotation and allow the motor to overrun after the valve is shut off.
