The D-Lock tilt coupler from Werk-Brau is capable of up 120 degrees of tilt on compact excavators up to 5 tons, and full-size excavators up to 35 MT.
A compact narrow body allows improved visibility and performance, while a triple sealed power actuator allows trouble-free operation, according to the company.
The coupler features an automatic front lock, dual pin locking, and a slide lock design. Dual locking design ensures that attachments remain securely engaged on both pins in the event of loss of engagement force. A multi pin center picks up all attachments in the same weight class with the same pin diameter.
Each unit includes a front lock indicator. Automatic front lock feature locks the front pin in the event the rear pin is not secured. The sliding jaw primary lock allows for multi pin centers to be accepted and is operated by a double skinned, double acting hydraulic cylinder utilizing full system pressure.
A new three-button coupler switch features a logic and sequence to ensure there will be no inadvertent activation. A two-tone alarm and a light system, alert the operator that a signal has been sent to the coupler cylinder to disengage.
The D-Lock Coupler complies with AS4772-2008 and EN474 Standard ISO international standards.
