RoadHog, a 30-year manufacturer of asphalt milling attachments, has a series of planers for mini excavators that features a direct-drive Geroler motor, cutting depths from zero to 5 inches, and 12- or 16-inch cutting widths.
They attach to the excavator via a pin-on or quick-attach mounting system. The attachment is aimed at municipalities for pothole repair and utility contractors for opening pits for pipe repairs.
