For use on excavators in the 60,000- to 80,000-pound range, Allied's new Rammer Model G 88 G-Series hydraulic hammer is available in a standard "City" version for quiet operation. Pro Control allows the operator to control the impact energy of the hammer to deliver the appropriate power, while Idle Selector lets the operator change the settings to accommodate specific breaking conditions.

At the same time, Fixed Blow Energy ensures the new Rammer G 88's blows are delivered at full power. Breaking at a rate of 300 to 480 blows per minute, this hammer requires 42.3 to 60.8 gallons per minute of hydraulic flow at 2,030 to 2,180 pounds per square inch of pressure.
