Wacker Neuson WL95 articulated wheel loader is the company’s largest model to be introduced in this size class, and it is the largest the company offers.
The WL95 has a 22,000-pound operating weight, and is powered by a Tier 4-F 136-horsepower Deutz 3.61 engine, with DOC and SCR aftertreatment. The wheel loader is also available with a 154.1-horsepower engine.
The ecospeed PRO hydrostatic transmission allows travel speeds up to 12.4 mph., provides tractive forces, and allows the machine to accelerate smoothly and evenly without interruption of traction, the company says. An articulated joint and a pendulum axle at the rear provides maneuverability and traction, giving the machine a 40-degree steering angle.
Straight tipping load with the standard 2-cubic-yard bucket is 14,392 pounds. The loader has return-to-dig functions, ride control, and a reversing fan as standard. A 7-inch color display keeps the operator informed of all the machine’s functions including temperature and operating hours. Regular maintenance is also made easily accessible with a wide opening engine hood, removable fenders, and semi-tiltable cabin.
The console features a multi-functional joystick, and “jog dial” adjustment of hydraulic flow provides a standard auxiliary hydraulic flow of 31 gpm. A hydraulic quick-change system allows operators to choose from a large number of attachments across a wide range of applications. If an attachment does not require full hydraulic power, the flow rate can be reduced manually. The position of the tool holder can also be saved with just one touch of a button.
