John Deere Updates 444K, 524K, 544K Wheel Loaders

Tier 4-Final John Deere PowerTech diesel engines provide 124 horsepower to the 444K wheel loader, 141 horsepower to the 524K, and 163 horsepower to the 544K. As with other K Series loaders, these three use load-sensing hydraulics. A PowerShift torque-converter transmission uses Smart-Shift technology to continuously evaluate speed and load conditions, Deere says.

An enhanced multifunction monitor has diagnostic and maintenance information, and a Level 1 sound-suppression package reduces engine noise.
