Bobcat Boosts Breakout, Lift Forces on 700, 800 Loaders

Bobcat 700 and 800 skid-steer, compact track, and all-wheel steer loaders have increased hydraulic pressures and breakout and lift forces. Tier 4-Interim diesels have been added to the range of loaders, which includes seven M-Series loaders: the S750, S770, and S850 skid-steers; the A770 all-wheel steer; and the T750, T770 and T870 CTLs. Bobcat says engine rpm recovery is faster with the new engines. Loaders with Selectable Joystick Controls have available an optional auto-idle function that automatically activates, causing the engine rpm to drop to idle if a loader’s functions are not used within five seconds. With the optional deluxe instrument panel, operators can set a preferred activation time between four and 240 seconds. Horsepower management is now based on engine torque instead of rpm. A new hydraulic control valve allows use of the tilt function regardless of auxiliary system pressure. The instrument panel has been upgraded for simplified navigation and more in-depth information on operator and machine performance. A 5-inch, full-color LCD screen includes a display titled Machine Performance that provides to “owner-level individuals” user login information, overall job statistics, and user job statistics.
