A new series of D85 crawler dozers from Komatsu — the D85EX-15 and D85PX-15 — are designed for heavy dozing, ripping and grading applications. All major components including hydraulics, power train, mainframe and cab are engineered by Komatsu. Operator comfort is improved with new hexagonal cab design with tinted glass windows for excellent visibility, new suspension seat, and air filters that prevent dust from entering the cab. The dozer has a turbocharged Komatsu engine that provides a maximum net output of 264 horsepower and meets Tier 3 emissions requirements. It also features the Komtrax monitoring system and Palm Command Control Steering.
