How Deere Performance Tiering Strategy is Lining Up

Dec. 7, 2022

John Deere has added six excavators to its P Tier lineup as it continues to unfold its Performance Tiering Strategy. The six P Tier excavators are the 135, 210, 245, 250, 300 and 345 models.

The tiering strategy, introduced at Conexpo 2020, enables Deere to provide excavator and wheel loader options based on performance, price, and customer experience, according to the company. Watch Deere's promotional video below.

Of the 18 wheel loaders Deere offers, including its 944K Hybrid, 14 have been converted into tier platforms: four are G Tier, nine are P Tier, and one is X Tier. Only one wheel loader, the 644, is available in all three tiers.
