Hyundai HX17AZ, HX27AZ, HX55ACR, HX60A excavators

Latest additions to the company's HX-A series.

Models HX17AZ, HX27AZ, HX55ACR and HX60A Hyundai compact excavators have been added to its HX-A series.

Operating weights are 4,370 pounds; 6,140 pounds, 12,600 pounds, and 13,580 pounds; respectively. The HX17AZ is powered by a Kubota D902 engine rated at 16.0 horsepower; the HX27AZ features a Kubota D1305 engine rated at 24.4 horsepower; the HX55ACR uses a Yanmar 4TNV86CT engine that delivers 47.6 horsepower; and the HX60A is powered by a Hyundai DM02VB engine rated at 63.0 horsepower.

  • The HX17AZ has a dig depth of 8 feet and bucket breakout force of 3,668 pounds.
  • The HX27AZ has a dig depth of 8 feet 10 inches and bucket breakout force of 4,613 pounds.
  • The HX55ACR has a dig depth of 12 feet 8 inches and bucket breakout force of 8,354 pounds.
  • The HX60A has a dig depth of 12 feet 4 inches and bucket breakout force of 9,461 pounds.

The HX55ACR, a compact-radius model, is equipped with standard load-sensing hydraulics, while the HX17AZ and HX27AZ are zero tail-swing machines and feature conventional open center hydraulic systems.

The HX55ACR and HX60A models offer standard blade float, and auto engine idle.

All four models have adjustable hydraulic flow, low-emission engines, 5-inch full color LCD monitor, hydraulic quick coupler and an integrated utility lifting hook.
