The RS Series GEN:2 telehandlers includes RS6-42 GEN:2, RS8-42 GEN:2, RS8-44 GEN:2, RS10-44 GEN:2, RS10-55 GEN:2 and RS12-42 GEN:2. They have been upgraded to Tier 4-Final with a 120-horsepower Cummins QSF 3.8 diesel engine that has 4 percent more horsepower and 6 percent more peak engine torque than the Interim version, the company says. Fuel consumption has been reduced 5 percent.
The telehandlers have welded box-section booms that handle rated capacities from 5,500 to 12,000 pounds, with lift heights from 19 feet 1 inch to 55 feet 1 inch. A rear axle stabilization system locks the rear axle to improve stability whenever the boom is raised 60 degrees, or the parking brake is applied.
