Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 All Terrain Crane

May 26, 2022

The LTM 1300-6.3 Liebherr crane has a 295-foot telescopic boom and lift capacity of 330 tons.

Components such as the telescopic boom and outriggers can be installed and removed to achieve axle loads of less than 13 tons. Tele-separation enables individual telescopic sections to be removed quickly in order to prepare the all terrain crane for the road with a gross weight of less than 66 tons and axle loads of less than 11 tons.

The 8-section telescopic boom includes the pivot section plus seven telescopic sections. The LTM 1300-6.3 has a range of lattice jibs available: 38-foot to 66-foot double folding jib, two 23-foot lattice sections to extend the telescopic boom, a 128-foot fixed jib, and a 141-foot hydraulically adjustable fixed jib.

Wind speed load charts have been calculated for various maximum wind speeds and programmed into the crane control system. If the wind speed measured on the crane’s boom during a job exceeds the set chart wind speed, the crane operator can simply switch to a load chart with a higher maximum wind speed.

Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 crane technology

  • VarioBasePlus. Rear supports have a double-stage design and achieve a support width of 31 feet, 6.5 feet wider than the front supports.
  • ECOdrive. An 8-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine in the undercarriage 619 bhp. The power is transferred to the crane axles by the 12-speed ZF TraXon torque gearbox.
  • Single-engine concept with ECOmode. The weight reduction created by removing the superstructure engine has been used to deliver a longer boom and more ballast. ECOmode helps to reduce fuel consumption and noise emissions. The complete pump drive is disconnected automatically when the engine is idling and then reconnected by the intelligent controller when required.
  • VarioBallast. The LTM 1300-6.3 crane can be operated with two different ballast radii: 16 feet or 19.5 feet. The large ballast radius achieves maximum capacity.
  • Auto-Ballast. A single touch of a button secures the ballast to the turntable.
