Manitowoc TM500E-2 Truck Crane

The 45-ton-capacity TM500E-2, replaces the TMS500E in Grove’s truck crane line. The new crane is equipped with a 29- to 95-foot four-section boom, and a longer 32- to 102-foot four-section boom is optional. Maximum tip heights are 102 and 110 feet.

The 45-ton-capacity TM500E-2, replaces the TMS500E in Grove’s truck crane line. The new crane is equipped with a 29- to 95-foot four-section boom, and a longer 32- to 102-foot four-section boom is optional. Maximum tip heights are 102 and 110 feet. With an optional 45-foot offsettable telescopic swing-away extension, maximum tip height increases to 154 feet. The crane’s Autocar chassis is built to Grove specifications (avoiding federal excise taxes) and is powered by a Cummins ISC 300-horsepower diesel. spring front suspension and air rear suspension provide a comfortable ride at up to 65 miles per hour. A Cummins QSB 3.3L 110-horsepower off-road diesel engine powers the crane superstructure.
