Crane Accident Sends Two to Hospital

A crawler crane struck a concrete post with its load, knocking it into a telescopic boom lift. Two workers in the work platform were ejected onto the pavement, according to local news reports.

The accident occurred on a section of Interstate 95 near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Images show a concrete post lying across the boom of the work platform, which was resting on its side.

Reports said the two workers were taken to a hospital.
