Hyundai's HW155H Hydrogen Fuel Cell Excavator

The 15-ton wheeled unit, previewed at Bauma, is ready for a market that's yet to exist.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe showed a hydrogen fuel cell-powered wheeled excavator at Bauma in Munich, calling it "the only working hydrogen-powered" piece of equipment at the massive trade show.

The HW155H also has a companion fuel trailer, but the company admits the infrastructure and market is not as ready as the machine.
