Welcome to ANSI Training

The opening video details each goal operators and supervisors will need to meet by the December deadline, including training on keeping safe while using MEWPs, staying productive, and avoiding fines and citations. Recruits additionally learn about new machine features, how to develop a safe use program, and meet new training requirements.

ANSI Safety Training

Episode two details all things related to MEWP safety training under the ANSI standards, including defining what it means to be a qualified person, or a person who can successfully demonstrate the ability to solve problems related to the subject matter, work, or project. The video also delves into the three types of workers who will need to be trained under the new standards: Operators, occupants, and supervisors.

ANSI Design Training

Episode three details platform load requirements under the ANSI standards, which state that if overloaded, the platform won’t allow you to move or elevate the machine. This is also similar for tilt sensing requirements. In the view, recruits also ensured the entrance gates to the MEWP were fixed and solid.
