Vermeer is expanding its horizontal directional drilling (HDD) tooling options with the addition of new API connection rock tooling, quickshot swivel tools, and a tooling breakout device.
One of the new options, the Vermeer Armor drilling system, allows crews to use bits from the Armor system on an API thread platform. Offerings include universal housing with single pin sonde lid retention; the Lance Pro bit for gravel and cobble; the Gauntlet bit for soft rock, medium rock, shale, and caliche, and more.
Quickshot swivel tools are designed to work in conjunction with most quickshot drill bit, and are available in four sizes.
