Feb. 8, 2022

The Electrified Power Equipment line (EPEQ) from Vanair is a system of zero-emission power equipment products. Products are powered by a line of lithium iron phosphate batteries specifically developed by the company, branded ELiMENT.

The battery has a contains multiple individual cells that are monitored by a battery management system (BMS). The BMS can discharge power while being charged back simultaneously. A Smart Control I/O board with proprietary software intelligently monitors and controls all EPEQ system components.

EPEQ allows users to turn off their vehicle’s engine and run equipment. The fully self-contained and independent system can be mounted on or within combustion engine or electric vehicles, as well as on trailers. On an electric vehicle, EPEQ can work with the host vehicle’s batteries or independently. The host vehicle does not have to have a PTO.

The line of EPEQ products consists of electric motor-driven air compressors, electric-hydraulic power, AC power inverters, welders, Level 1 and 2 EV charging, electric-driven underdecks, electric driven above-decks, alternators/regulators, and DC-DC converters.
