Underground Vegas Shuttle Could be Operational in 2020

Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, says the Las Vegas tunneling system being built by his startup the Boring Co. could be fully operational in 2020. According to Fox Business, Musk tweeted about the $48.7 million project late Friday night.
According to the article, the planned transit system is expected to shuttle visitors from the Las Vegas Convention Center to three stops spread across the length of about a mile.
CNN reported that when completed, the Las Vegas project will consist of two tunnels, each about a mile long. Passengers will be transported via autonomous vehicles at up to 155 mph, the company says.
According to the company, the tunnels will shorten a 15-minute walk to a one minute ride.
