The D10x15 S3 Navigator horizontal directional drill replaces the D9x13 S3 drill. Its 60-horsepower Deutz TD2.9 Tier 4-Final engine provides 36 percent more power. Thrust/pullback has also been boosted, to 10,000 pounds, with a maximum torque of 1,500 lb.-ft. Spindle speed is 220 rpm.
Maximum carriage speed is 208 fpm, and the unit is 12.5 feet long.
