Matt has been around equipment since he was a toddler, and he started his excavating company at 19. He currently employs 10. The company has grown and taken him away from the field, but “when I get the chance to get my hands dirty with our awesome employees, I am the first one to get into the dirt.”
Accomplishments: Matt’s company provides a workplace that is a home and a career for employees, and has a reputation for retaining and training employees to exceed industry stand-ards.
Off the clock: Off-roading on northern Michigan trails.
Extracurricular: Provide materials and labor to local BMX track and teams, and donate to local first responders and sports teams.
