Snyder obtained his contractor’s license at 24 years old, and started Advantage Backhoes with a single backhoe. The company currently employs 40 people and runs more than 30 pieces of equipment. The company has more than 150,000 man-hours without a lost-time injury or recordable injury.

Professional accomplishments: Have increased revenue by at least 50 percent year after year for 11 consecutive years, doubling revenue in three of those years. Named subcontractor of the month for the $125 million Loma Linda Hospital project. All of our equipment operators have their competent person certificates along with their OSHA 10 cards. We have created JHA/AHA for multiple high-profile projects, resulting in a zero-lost-time safety record to date. We currently hold an EMR rating of .79.
