Truck Hauling Wheel Loader Plows Into House

Dec. 20, 2022

A Hokah, Minnesota, woman and her son were sitting in the living room of their home when a semi carrying a 40,000-pound wheel loader crashed into the house.

“It sounded like a bomb went off,” Jessica McFarland said, as reported by WIZM.

“We heard a large noise, braking, a thump and then crash,” she said. “Windows blew in. Ceiling started cracking. And that’s when I realized the house got hit. My back was to the street. Debris flew right in front of me. My son was sitting next to me. I grabbed him and held him.”

The two were not hurt.
