Genesis dump and transfer trailers feature clean, smooth sidewalls of polished aluminum. Without the added drag of external posts, the trailer aerodynamics can yield fuel savings of 5 to 10 percent, the company says. Thanks to the inherent strength of the welded sidewall, the interior width can be increased by 4 inches over sheet-and-post construction trailers, while outside dimensions remain at 96 or 102 inches. Thus, a tipper transfer trailer can haul up to 5.75 cubic yards more payload.
