Trimble LM80 Layout Manager

Sept. 28, 2010

Trimble added a powerful new rugged controller and office software to its LM80 Layout Manager to enable real-time two-way data transfer between project designers in the office and contractors on site. The LM80 creates a digital replica of the project blueprint. It connects to both mechanical and robotic total stations for accurate, fast and simple building layout. The new wireless data controller is a key element of Trimble’s Connected Site.

The new wireless data controller is a key element of Trimble’s Connected Site. Design engineers can make changes immediately available to the contractor, and the contractor can transfer as-built designs in real time to communicate progress reports and problems. The fast processor and highly visible screen make it easy to work with complex building designs on the jobsite.
