A pair of solid rubber bolster springs arranged in a V over the equalizing beams of Hendrickson's Haulmaax suspension stiffen up as the load compresses them. As they approach their compression limit, a rubber auxiliary spring mounted on the saddle engages the beam. Working in compression, the bolsters provide a soft ride when the suspension is unloaded. Combining them with auxiliary springs gives the suspension very high stability when the truck is loaded. Haulmaax is at least 100 pounds lighter than other vocational suspensions. There are no center bushings. Estimated price: $3,500.
