The D36X50R MAGnum magnetic hammer drilling system uses rapidly rotating magnets of alternating polarity within the carriage assembly to create a high frequency percussive action that fractures and bores through solid rock. The push created by the magnet’s two north poles is repeated thousands of times and amplified to make the percussive action. The MAGnum drilling system does not require specialty drill rods nor auxiliary support such as an air compressor. At the flip of a switch, the MAGnum system can be disengaged and perform as a conventional HDD drill.
