The Slider50 Hooklift has been redesigned to weigh 1,000 less than its predecessor, providing 950 pounds more available payload, the company says. The hooklift is a hydraulic system mounted on a truck chassis that can use various bodies and has a capacity of 50,000 pounds. Dump mode has a maximum dump angle of 51 degrees on a 45-inch high truck frame. By using a sliding jib, the unit can accommodate bodies ranging in length from 16 to 22 feet. Bodies up to 24 feet can be uses with a special bumper.
Three configurations are available: fixed 54-inch hook height, 61.75-inch hook height, and a hydraulic adjustable jib that will travel from 54 inches to 61.75 inches with an in-cab control lever.
