A father and daughter have died after they were involved in a crash with a tow truck carrying a crawler dozer that fell on top of their vehicle in Ogden Canyon, Utah.

According to a report from MSN.com, 57-year-old Richard David Hendrickson was driving his family at the time of the crash when a mini bulldozer broke free from a tow truck during a right-hand curve.

One of Richard's daughters, 16-year-old Sally Hendrickson, also died in the accident. Hendrickson’s wife and two of their children were also in the car at the time of the crash and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox later mourned the passing of the father and daughter in a post on X.
