Indoor/outdoor tracking devices lowers battery-replacement maintenance.

Teletrac Navman has expanded its asset tracker portfolio with the launch of two new indoor/outdoor tracking devices for construction assets.

The tracker battery has a 10-year life, according to the company, which removes disruption and equipment loss from dead batteries and lowers the maintenance cost and challenges of installing new ones while assets are scattered across the field.

The company’s AI-powered TN360 ACM platform provides a single pane of glass view for real-time asset location. The TN360 ACM platform provides visibility into location, maintenance, and utilization across powered and non-powered assets.

Global 4G network recognition, with 2G cellular fallback, ensures connectivity in remote areas. In case of theft, a “Recovery Mode” can be activated to help locate and recover stolen assets.

“From our own customers, we know that their operations are becoming more dispersed and challenging to manage, which in turn comes with the increased risk of asset theft, something that is costing the construction industry billions annually,” Said Doug Haebig, director, product management, in a statement.
